Belgian dry bulk shipper says prospects improving
Demand from China and a fall in the number of vessels operated by competitors have improved prospects for Belgian shipping group CMB, it said.
"It would not be unreasonable to envisage the first signs of a healthy revival following another few depressed quarters," the shipping and air freight firm said in a statement, referring specifically to its coal and grain tanker division.
It said full-year net profit was $131 million, a slight decrease from $137 million last year. (Reuters)
