JSY Software, a leading provider of software solutions for local trucking, announced the availability of OneTerminal TMS V2.0, a software application designed specifically for managing the operations of trucking companies that operate from a single location.

OneTerminal TMS V2.0 offers local trucking, cartage, P&D companies and private fleets the ability to manage every aspect of their business, from rating and pricing to routing, manifesting, real-time vehicle status, accounts receivable and invoicing, plus a protected online portal for 24/7 customer access. In addition, OneTerminal TMS V2.0 offers options that include a powerful document-scanning capability, GPS/geofencing for real-time shipment status updates, real-time hazmat status, route optimization and easy custom interface for EDI.

While no other solutions exist that can match the full-service capabilities of OneTerminal TMS, the most unique aspect of the application is its ability to instantly rate cartage shipments, alleviating the need to spend hours of staff time using rate books. Rates can be calculated by hundredweight, pallets, cubes, units of volume, miles, truckload, and more. OneTerminal TMS offers the ability to use pre-set global or customer-specific rates for every service level offered. A cartage firm can even set up a rate for a specific customer for a specific recurring shipment between two points. Anyone entering an order or quote immediately sees the rate.

'Pricing used to take forever with the rate books,' said Joseph Farella, managing partner of Satellite Motor Service, a leading air-freight firm in Wood Dale. 'We get so much more business now because we can quote shipments in seconds. I haven't seen anything that does rating for local P&D'or air freight'as fast or as well as OneTerminal TMS.'

JSY Software is a Microsoft Partner and develops its TMS (Transportation Management System) software solutions on the .NET platform. The company's applications are based on more than 20 years' successful management experience in local trucking, cartage, and P&D.

'The TMS market has been geared largely for multi-terminal and over-the-road trucking companies,' said Jonathan Miller, director of sales and marketing for JSY. 'It's exciting to see our customers getting such value from OneTerminal TMS. It's a breath of fresh air for them to have a TMS that is designed from the ground up with the needs of local trucking companies in mind.'
