Gebrüder Weiss was named by HP “Regional Logistics Supplier of the Year” at the Supply-Chain-Supplier-Summit-2012. The high quality service of Gebrüder Weiss in the complex Central and Eastern European region and CIS countries, among other things, has been decisive for winning the award. Gebrüder Weiss offers a consistently excellent level of service and has been ranked number one in the field of transportation and logistics solutions for HP for several quarters in a row. In addition, Gebrüder Weiss is a benchmark in terms of project management and cooperation in logistics.

Gebrüder Weiss CEO Wolfgang Niessner and Jürgen Bauer, Regional Director East, received the award at the gala ceremony in San Francisco on 7 November. The prize was presented by Bill Long, Vice President, Global Supply Chain Network and Logistics, HP, and Ronald Kleijwegt, Regional Director, EMEA Logistics, HP.
