2014 Indiana Logistics Summit

Purdue University will offer a new, intensive logistics workshop at the 2014  Indiana Logistics Summit focused on helping businesses improve their workforce development and supply chain practices. The Purdue Logistics Workshop will be Oct. 8 and include two sessions hosted by transportation and logistics experts from Purdue's College of Technology and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership.  The program will cover topics critical to the continued strength of the transportation and logistics sector and its contributions to the Indiana and U.S. economies through the use of hands-on, interactive activities and presentations. Preregistration is required for the workshop and the cost is $50 per attendee, which is in addition to general admission to the Summit. Participants will receive a Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership Certificate at the end of the session.  The Purdue Logistics Workshop will be held at 2 p.m., Oct. 8, in Rooms 101-102 of the Indiana Convention Center, immediately following the Summit's Keynote Luncheon.
