In the true spirit of giving, American Airlines Cargo and DHL Express, the world's leading express delivery and logistics company, recently partnered to deliver premium steak dinners to U.S. troops based in Afghanistan. Working together, AA Cargo and DHL Express transported more than 5,000 steaks for troops to enjoy during the holiday season.

American supplied DHL Express with temperature-controlled containers ' utilizing its new ExpediteTC(SM) service ' which allows for the long-range transportation of perishable goods. DHL Express then transported the American Airlines Cargo containers to U.S. armed forces based in Afghanistan through its dedicated air network. In addition, 2,500 pounds of Dallas Cowboys football jerseys and other sports apparel, donated by the Cowboys, were provided to the troops.
