Launches scheduled non-stop Boeing 777 cargo service to Moscow from Chicago O'Hare

American Airlines Cargo Division (AA Cargo) today announced new cargo service to Moscow, Russia, from Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). AA Cargo will offer regular nonstop Boeing 777 service to Russia's Domodedovo International Airport (DME) beginning today.

'Our Chicago gateway is well positioned to support freight forwarders and their cargo originating from the U.S. heartland,' said Dave Brooks, president of American Airlines Cargo. 'Access to Russia represents new opportunities for our freight forwarder customers to meet increasing demand there for US commodities. Through American's worldwide network and interline partners, new channels are also opened up for outbound commodities out of Russia.'

AA Cargo is offering its Chicago ' Moscow service six days a week. Eastbound flights will fly every day except Sunday, and westbound flights will operate daily with the exception of Mondays.

Russia's Domodedovo is a privately owned and operated airport located about 14 miles southeast of Moscow. It has an integrated domestic and international terminal. The airport connects with downtown Moscow via a modern freeway, as well as a non-stop train.
