American Intermodal Container Manufacturing (AICM) announced today that the company’s Managing Board of Directors has appointed Jack Allen as its Chairman. Allen was formerly Executive Vice President and COO of Navistar, a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles and engines.  AICM also announced the appointment of Patrick Marron as Chief Executive Officer.   “Jack brings an enormous amount of talent and energy to the AICM team. His extensive experience and proven leadership in the commercial trucking industry is an immediate game changer for our company’s entrance into the domestic container market,” said John Maguire, AICM founder and managing board member.  Jack Allen started with Navistar in 1981 as a design engineer and through the years has held various leadership positions at the company, including President of the North American Truck Group and President of the Engine Group.  He also served as Vice President and General Manager of the company’s parts organization. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and an MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology.   "I am extremely excited to be associated with a highly entrepreneurial company that is intent on being a major player in the container manufacturing industry," said Allen. "We have an excellent leadership team and business plan that will position us as a strong U.S. manufacturing company." Patrick Marron joins AICM with more than 30 years of executive experience, most recently as Chief Operating Officer at Four Seasons, a division of Latium USA, which is an international metal products manufacturing, distribution and installation company.  “I’ve known Pat as an industry leader for more than three decades and he is always thinking three steps ahead,” Maguire said. “His executive management experience and no-nonsense approach to meeting the customer’s expectations make him a natural fit to manage the company’s day-to-day operations.” Patrick Marron began his career at Four Seasons in 1982 and quickly ascended through positions of increasing responsibility at individual manufacturing and distribution facilities to becoming Chief Executive Officer of the Franchise Division. In 2010, he was appointed to Chief Operating Officer of the company.  As COO, he was directly responsible for every aspect of the company’s manufacturing, distribution and sales operations, with particular expertise in facilities installation, operational streamlining, and contract negotiations and labor relations. Marron managed a workforce with employees in over 300 locations worldwide with over $200 million in annual revenues.  “I am very excited to join AICM,” said Mr. Marron. “I am confident we will successfully meet a critical need in the intermodal transportation and logistics market by delivering a superior product while providing our customers with a greater sense of certainty and reliability.”   Formed in 2012, American Intermodal Container Manufacturing has contracted with CenterLine (Windsor) Limited, an international advanced automated processing and technology firm out of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to design and fully integrate a manufacturing facility equipped to build 53-foot dry containers.  AICM will install advanced robotic welding along with automated production assembly systems while using environmentally friendly paint systems specifically designed for the production of domestic container products, with the capacity to manufacture and deliver up to 25,000 containers annually. The company has already successfully produced and tested prototypes to the Association of American Railroad (AAR) industry standard. AICM is in negotiations with a major industry manufacturer to establish operations within the United States. The company expects to make a formal announcement in the coming weeks.
