AirBridgeCargo Airlines took first place in the category 'Most Volume in 2009', ahead of Cathay Pacific and Emirates. Eleven-month tonnage for AirBridgeCargo totaled 31,040 metric tons ' 30 per cent higher year-on-year.
The 'Best Cargo Performer' reception is held annually by FCS with all prize winners receiving the traditional 'Hessiche Bembel,' a pottery jug for the famous and refreshing Hessian apple wine drink.
A well-deserved award came as acknowledgement of hard work performed by the Frankfurt team during a year that was indeed very challenging for the entire industry.
