AJOT to serve as a 2010 GFTC Media Sponsor

Georgia Foreign Trade Conference (GFTC) General Chairman Doug J. Marchand announced the American Journal of Transportation (AJOT) would serve as a media sponsor for the 2010 event. The 42nd GFTC will be held January 31 - February 2, 2010 at The Cloister on Sea Island, Georgia USA.

“We are very pleased to have the American Journal of Transportation serve as an official media sponsor for the 2010 GFTC. , together with its line of on-line products, serves a strategic role in covering global transportation. George Lauriat and Bill Bourbon do an excellent job in continuing to grow this product. We appreciate AJOT‘s continued support of the GFTC,” stated Marchand.

As an official media sponsor, the American Journal of Transportation will be distributed at the conference. The American Journal of Transportation is dedicated to providing shippers, carriers, transportation intermediaries, and logistics professionals with coverage of news and events that shape the world of international trade and transportation. AJOT‘s news is segmented into five main categories: International Trade, Maritime, Air Cargo, Intermodal, and Freight Fowarding/Logistics.

For 42 years, the Georgia Foreign Trade Conference has attracted innovative, nontraditional thinkers. Whether container, ro/ro, breabulk, or bulk, GFTC panels are driven by the biggest challenges, and opportunities, impacting global trade. The conference, averaging over 300 delegates annually, is comprised of senior logistics professionals from across the globe. The GFTC is organized by the Savannah Maritime Association, the Georgia Stevedores Association, the Georgia Ports Authority, and the Savannah Independent Forwarders & Brokers Association.
