Alpine Air Express, Inc. announced the purchase of four additional Beech 1900 aircraft by its operating subsidiary, Alpine Aviation, Inc. The acquisition grows the Company's fleet of cargo aircraft to 29, including 14 Beech 1900 C/D models. The increase in lift capacity represents an increase to Alpine's fleet revenue opportunity by nearly 20%.

Alpine currently services 94 daily departures to areas of North Dakota & South Dakota, Montana, Hawaii, Nebraska, and Colorado. The Company carries cargo for the US Postal Service and other international carriers.

Mr. Joe Etchart, Chairman of Alpine Air's Board of Directors, stated, "Our aircraft, pilots and staff are busy. Our management team expects this trend to continue. To enable our company to further grow and develop new routes, we found it advantageous to expand our fleet, continue to pursue fuel hedging programs and vigorously compete within our regions. After increasing our lift capacity by 22,000 pounds, we are excited about the additional revenue opportunities and drive future profitability."
