The group said it now expects to pay about $185 million on average per vessel, against previous expectations of about $190 million.
Maersk Line ordered the ships, capable of carrying 18,000 20-foot equivalent units (TEU), in 2011.
The first vessel will be named at a ceremony at the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering wharf and is expected to be operational on Asia to Europe routes on June 28.
An additional four vessels will be delivered this year, while the remaining 15 will be delivered in 2014 and 2015. (Reuters)
