BDP International (BDP) has been appointed to handle the export of Aramco Trading Co. (ATC) polymer products.  ATC recently began marketing chemical products from Petro Rabigh, in which it holds an equity interest. These include polypropylene, high-density polyethylene, and linear low-density polyethylene.  Among the services BDP will provide are shipment management to improve asset utilization cycle time for containers; bookings; draft verification and bills of lading; export customs clearance documentation and execution including management of third-party vendors; and ocean freight including lead ocean carrier negotiations both outbound from Jeddah and designated hubs, freight audits and transportation management. BDP also will provide services for hub management and port of destination including in-transit monitoring, container stock, bookings, freight forwarding, courier services, control tower documentation uploads, warehouse management, customs brokerage and coordination of truck transport. Its BDP Smart Suite® control tower will provide shipment monitoring and visibility, automated status and exception alerts and reporting tools including status management, automated shipment forecasting, exception management, order and stock visibility, documentation management, reporting, IT integration and live support.
