SEKO Logistics, a global provider of supply-chain solutions, including comprehensive transportation, logistics and IT solutions ' has appointed Joe Bento to its executive management team as Chief Sales Officer, based in North America. 
 


Joe joins SEKO from CEVA Logistics where he held the positions of President of Global Freight Management, President for the Americas Region, and most recently, Executive Vice President. Joe had previously been President North America and Chief Marketing Officer for EGL prior to its acquisition by CEVA Logistics. 
 


Joe will report to William Wascher, CEO of SEKO Global Logistics, and Mark White, President and COO, SEKO Global Logistics. In a joint statement, they said: 'Joe's appointment is a real coup for SEKO Logistics. Make no mistake, SEKO Logistics will no longer be the best kept secret in the industry, and with the addition of Joe to lead our global sales efforts, SEKO will strengthen its position in the market. Joe will work in conjunction with David Emerson and Ian Richardson, who lead our sales efforts in EMEA and ASPAC respectively.'
