A new turn-key solution to deliver enough ethanol to supply the daily needs of the Dallas/Fort Worth market was announced today by BNSF Railway Company (BNSF) and Musket Corporation, a privately owned petroleum and petroleum products wholesaler.

Beginning June 23, 2006, ethanol will be transported by rail from the Midwest and other production areas to a BNSF terminal at the Mark IV industrial area in north Fort Worth where Musket will transload the ethanol directly into trucks for delivery by Musket's sister company, Gemini Motor Transport, to Dallas/Fort Worth ethanol storage and blending facilities.

"The BNSF and Musket arrangement comes at a critical time for Dallas/Fort Worth as refiners switch to ethanol from the gasoline additive MTBE to meet EPA standards this summer," said Kevin Kaufman, group vice president, BNSF Agricultural Products. "Refiners want a safe, cost-effective and efficient means of continuously transporting large volumes of ethanol from the major production areas to Dallas/Fort Worth."

"The timing on the facility is excellent as we plan for this summer. The need for ethanol as a gasoline additive will be high and our ability to move the product safely from rail cars to trucks bound for blending facilities will help meet this need. We are excited about working with BNSF in the Dallas/Fort Worth area," said Michael Brakefield, director, Fuel Distribution, Musket Corporation.

"The safety of all citizens in the City of Fort Worth is my major concern," said L. Charles Gaines, Fire Chief, Fort Worth Fire Department. "I applaud BNSF for their willingness to do their part to make Fort Worth a safe major city."

BNSF is a pioneer in the safe, efficient and cost-effective transportation of ethanol. In 2003, BNSF developed the industry's first ethanol unit train service, Ethanol Express', which moves ethanol from a single origin or gathering location to a single destination. The program is designed to save ethanol producers time and money through increased fleet utilization, lower inventory carrying costs, and logistics coordination and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. BNSF moves more than 223 million gallons of ethanol per year through its Ethanol Express' program.

Musket Corporation is a privately owned petroleum and petroleum products wholesaler headquartered in Oklahoma City. Its sister company, Gemini Motor Transport, is a leader in the safe transportation of fuel and fuel-related products.
