John Brown - Coyne AirwaysCoyne Airways has appointed John Brown as Director of Sales USA.

The appointment will see John lead Coyne Airways' commercial activities in North America, heading up the company's growing sales team in the region. In his new post, John is based in Houston, Texas.

He was formerly Regional Director of Heavyweight Air Express and has a 23-year career in the air cargo industry. John spent 17 years with Continental Airlines, mostly in its cargo division, in senior roles including Manager of Interline and Corporate Accounts, and Manager of Pricing.

In 2004, John joined Air Cargo Promotion, spending five years with the general sales agency managing airline customers serving the South Pacific, South America, the Middle East, Asia and Europe from the US.

Since the start of flights to the Gulf in 2004, Coyne has also successfully completed over 2,000 flights to Iraq and Afghanistan and transported 55 million kilos of freight to the two countries.

Coyne Airways has provided services from the US market for 15 years and its major interline partners now include Air France, Virgin Atlantic, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Delta, British Airways, Continental Airlines and Asiana Airlines.
