Telargo, Inc. announced that Bradco Supply, a national distributor of building materials, is deploying Telargo's fleet management solution in more than 1,000 vehicles. With over 154 branch operations in 29 states and more than 3,200 employees, Bradco required a robust solution for the real-time management of its mobile assets to maximize its fleet and equipment utilization, increase productivity and drive down operating costs.

Telargo's mobile asset management solution provides customers with business intelligence to optimize their fleet operations, drive profitability and achieve service excellence. Telargo enables customers to extract the most value from their mobile assets by delivering real-time operational information, time saving functionality and value-added customer services. The Telargo solution is comprised of a comprehensive suite of Web-based tools to track, monitor and manage mobile assets (i.e. vehicles, workforce, equipment), coupled with in-vehicle technology to gather data and enable interactive communication.

'We looked at different solutions and came to the conclusion that Telargo was the most comprehensive, flexible and intelligent solution for our growing requirements,' said Kevin Tremmel, Corporate Fleet Manager of Bradco. 'Telargo offered us greater visibility into each vehicle, on every trip, in real time. Along with tools for automated reporting, including the IFTA fuel tax requirement, Telargo is helping us further improve our operational efficiency.'

Mr. Tremmel continued, 'Telargo's service will save us time and money by eliminating excess administration time and increasing the accuracy of our reporting. We have used other solutions that offered fundamental 'track and trace' capabilities but Telargo offers us the data intelligence which will help us to improve our field operations, communication and customer service.'

Bradco completed a successful pilot program with Telargo that included more than 100 vehicles in September. The company is currently engaged in a company-wide deployment of Telargo's services in more than 1000 vehicles which is expected to be completed by early 2007.

Bradco will be utilizing Telargo's solution for location intelligence, workforce management, automated fuel tax reporting, preventative maintenance using on-board diagnostic codes (OBD), additional sensors and enterprise integration. All of these features are accessible through Telargo's Control Center, an intuitive Web-based interface.

'Telargo's robust and flexible solution enables customers, such as Bradco, to manage multiple critical business functions'from fleet and mobile workforce to complex logistic processes,' said Bogdan Pavlic, CEO of Telargo. 'Leveraging Telargo's solution will give Bradco the potential to realize a number of competitive advantages ' reducing operating expenses, increasing fleet productivity, accelerating work processes and improving customer service. Telargo's vast solution repository will also allow Bradco to take a step-by-step, modular approach to deployment and implement one improvement after the other; this means that as the company's needs and requirements grow, the solution will easily and seamlessly grow with it.'
