The transportation/logistics group cargo-partner recently opened another office in Visakhapatnam on the Indian East coast. This brings the number of corporate subsidiaries to 24.

The seaport Visakhapatnam is one of the fastest-growing urban areas in India and already has a population of 1 million. In recent years, mainly multinational corporations have opened subsidiaries in this city.

Stefan Krauter, cargo-partner's CEO explained: "As of today, we already have roughly 200 employees in India. In recent years, we have focused on the Asian market and we are now in an excellent strategic position thanks to our total of 40 offices. Our presence in India is strongly linked to our strategic goal of becoming one of the leading providers of air and sea freight services serving continental Europe and Greater China. Thanks to our growing network of company-owned offices in Asia, we have experienced significant growth in other markets, e.g. the intra-Asian market or the market to and from Australia while maintaining our presence in our core markets in Europe."
