Heavy duty diesel trucks typically pass through a progression of owners as they age, often operating at seaports toward the end of their useful lives. These older trucks are the least fuel efficient and produce more air pollution than newer models. So, many seaports are establishing clean truck programs to entice drayage fleets to retire their oldest trucks. Cascade Sierra Solutions (CSS) is proud to announce two new locations where they will help administer clean truck programs at the ports of Charleston, SC and Tacoma, WA.

The Charleston, SC Green Trucking Center staff includes Branch Manager Harry Johnson II and Technical Advisor Erin Griesemer.

Harry Johnson II joins CSS with 10 years of transportation and sales experience. He has held postions as a transit driver, fleet manager, and operations director at a logistics company.

Erin Griesemer has a wealth of experience relating to the Port of Charleston, drayage operations, and the transportation industry. She is an experienced dispatcher with an Associate of Business degree from Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC.

In Tacoma, Technical Advisor Ben Holcomb brings his experience and knowledge of fleet operations management, logistics coordination and transportation brokerage to the new CSS facility there. Ben was the branch manager for the first CRST location in Portland, OR.
