CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain management companies, has announced the appointment of Michael Schaecher as Chief Operating Officer, Global Airfreight.  He will report to Xavier Urbain, CEVA’s Chief Executive Officer and will become a member of CEVA’s Executive Board. Mr. Schaecher brings extensive Airfreight knowledge and experience to CEVA, in addition to a broad range of industry networks.  He has held a wide selection of senior leadership and operations roles including executive positions with DHL Global Forwarding, Star Broker AG, and Panalpina World Transport GmbH.   He most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer for Air Cargo Germany GmbH. Under Michael’s leadership, CEVA will adapt and develop its Airfreight offerings in order to further meet customers’ present as well as future requirements.
