Herbert de Saint Simon has been appointed CEO of Bolloré Logistics and President of SDV International Logistics. A Freight Forwarding organization has been created within the Bolloré Logistics Division to enhance the development of synergies between SDV, the group’s global brand, SAGA, a major player in France, Nord Sud and Transisud, companies also located in France.  Herbert de Saint Simon takes the leadership of this structure and now becomes President of SDV International Logistics, of which he has been the CEO since 2009.

"Our group is among the top 10 leading transport and logistics providers in terms of revenue and is one of the best in terms of profitability," said Herbert de Saint Simon.

"We are continuing our profitable growth strategy by investing in our ability to implement global supply chain solutions: through integrated services, an information system offering end-to-end visibility and total control of the supply chain, upstream or downstream platforms for intercontinental flows and the expertise of our employees. We have therefore positioned ourselves as an industry leader in the management of complex and high added value solutions. The ability of our organizations to change and adapt is paramount”.

The strengthening of the global SDV network (organized in four major regions: Europe, Americas, Middle East & South Asia and Asia-Pacific), is also at the heart of our development. We have recently acquired two companies in Italy and Switzerland respectively, created subsidiaries in Colombia and Norway and we are also looking at the same type of operations in the Middle East, the United States and Brazil.

The African network, under the brand Bolloré Africa Logistics, is the other Division of the Bolloré Group’s Transport and Logistics business. Its unique coverage of the continent is a key factor of success for SDV, Saga and Nord Sud.

“All conditions must be met to make the supply chain reliable, agile, cost-effective and efficient. It is our overwhelming priority on behalf of our clients”.
