CMA CGM announced the launch, beginning September, of a new training program as part of its Specialised Masters in International Maritime Management in partnership with Euromed with special focus on seafarers.

In addition to the initial training program launched in 2003, this new course, opened first to CMA CGM employees and later on to external candidates, is aimed at seafarers or former seafarers who wish to improve their knowledge in business management, management and international trade.

For many years now, CMA CGM has developed partnerships with France's'"Grandes Ecoles" (HEC, ENSTA, Normandy Management School, Le Havre University, IGS') and especially those in the Provence region and Marseilles where the head office of the Group is located (Euromed, ENMM, IAE of Aix en Provence, IEP of Aix-en-Provence). CMA CGM has created several training programs in parternship with Euromed and ENMM including Specialised Masters in International Maritime Management, Maritime MBA and Master of Science Maritime Management in which its employees are actively involved in conducting conferences.

The Group also holds, on a regular basis, presentations at its head office in Marseilles dedicated to students on CMA CGM's core business and the various shipping professions.

These partnerships are aimed at both sharing theoretical and operational knowledge in order to develop skills as well as discovering the industry and its professions, little known by the general public.

The special relationships established by the Group with the "Grandes Ecoles" in France, and especially in Marseilles, are in line with CMA CGM's Human Resources strategy based on developing the various talents of our staff members,' on land or at sea, by promoting training and internal mobility.
