The Express Delivery and Logistics Association (XLA) announced a cooperative agreement with the National Industrial Transportation League (NITL).

NITL, created in 1907, is the leading organization for the freight transportation industry representing shippers and all transport modes including air, ocean, rail and surface. XLA is the voice of the expedited air delivery, international postal and logistics industry.

The agreement details the participation of XLA within the TransComp Exhibition, NITL's annual conference. TransComp, which will be held in November 2010 at the Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center, brings together more than two thousand shippers with leading freight transport companies. This year, XLA will host a dedicated Air Cargo Pavilion within the Exhibition Hall that will allow the interaction of shippers with carriers and air expeditors. XLA member companies will also have sponsorship opportunities within the conference.

Bruce Carlton, President & CEO of NITL stated "All transport modes are critical channels for getting goods quickly to market. The air freight expertise of XLA and its members and the creation of a dedicated Air Pavilion will greatly enhance the value experience for all TransComp attendees."

Jim Conway, Executive Director of the XLA commented "This is truly a win -win situation. Shippers, carriers and expeditors will be able to centrally meet and discuss air freight needs and capabilities. We are honored to partner with NITL and excited to participate at such an outstanding event."
