The new company supports its customers in Saudi Arabia from another three offices in Dammam, Jeddah and Al Jubayl. DB Schenker has an experienced team of over 80 employees and is developing further the client relationships it has built up over the last 30 years in Saudi Arabia. Schenker Saudi Arabia LLC is fully integrated into DB Schenker's worldwide network and offers a full range of logistics services. A major focus of its activities lies in the global project logistics business.
'We can now offer high-quality integrated solutions from a single source to all our customers in this important Arab country,' said Dr. Detlef Trefzger, who as member of the Board of Management for Contract Logistics/ Supply Chain Management at Schenker AG is also responsible for the Region Near Middle East / Africa.
In addition, there are plans to set up other national companies and cooperation agreements in order to continue to deepen and expand the business. 'The Near Middle East / Africa region is one of the most interesting growth markets for global network and logistics activities,' said Dr. Detlef Trefzger.
