Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS), the world's leading maritime services provider, has announced a key hire in its Cargo Solutions division. Vincent Mazzone, a dry bulk supply chain and risk management professional, has been appointed to the newly created Geneva-based role of Vice President Cargo Solutions Business Development. Mazzone joins ISS following a career in dry bulk products including coal, ore, non-ferrous concentrates and fertilizers.  Working for SGS, Koch Carbon LLC and most recently as a consultant, he has for over 30 years provided supply chain management services for buyers, sellers, traders, producers and international inspection companies. Reporting to Tim Cahill, Chief Operating Officer of Cargo Solutions, Mazzone will focus on developing ISS’ business in the areas of cargo management, transportation and logistics.  His remit encompasses CESI Cargo Services, the ISS group company which offers a wide range of consulting and field services to consumers, trading companies and, producers of coal and other bulk commodities. Cahill commented on his appointment, saying: “Vincent brings to ISS significant expertise and a wealth of industry connections. ISS is developing a world-renowned reputation in cargo supply chain management, especially in dry bulk, and this appointment signals further growth in this area.”
