VWR International chooses CII as its transport agent
One of the largest medical supply companies in the US, VWR International, has chosen Consolidators International, (CII) as transportation agent for domestic and international distribution of its products as well as for inventory control at CII’s capacious Los Angeles warehouse.West Chester, PA based VWR International makes and distributes more than 47,000 medical supply products ranging from surgical gloves to advanced electrophoresis systems.
CII will be responsible for transporting VWR International equipment and supplies by air to domestic and international destinations. For less urgent items, CII has established an inventory control system at its LAX headquarters.
VWR International chose CII because of its reputation for personal service combined with a detailed knowledge of Asian and South Pacific destinations, two regions of VWR International’s greatest growth. Also, CII’s close relationship with airlines serving Asian and South Pacific markets were contributing factors.
Said President & CEO Julian Keeling, “Medical supplies are too critical to the health of a community to be left behind on an airport tarmac.”
