Schneider National receives ShopKo’s transportation performance award
Schneider National Inc. announced that the company has been honored with a Supply Chain All-Star award from ShopKo, a $2.2 billon retailer of quality goods and services. For the past five years, ShopKo has presented the award annually to companies that demonstrate exceptional performance, service innovation and leadership. Schneider was among four companies recognized at ShopKo’s 2006 Carrier Conference earlier this year.“We are committed to providing our customers with creative solutions that are designed to meet the most demanding shipping requirements ’ in ShopKo’s case, Intermodal and One-Way services,’ said Mark Rourke, president of truckload at Schneider National. “ShopKo’s Supply Chain All-Star award reflects Schneider’s ability to help our customers gain a competitive edge in this market.
