Enterra Solutions Strengthens Port and Intermodal Transportation Security Business with Acquisition
Enterra Solutions, LLC, announced today that it has acquired Cincinnatus Consulting LLC, a Philadelphia-based consulting firm specializing in security for critical infrastructure and intermodal transportation. Cincinnatus Consulting’s staff has extensive experience in integrated security assessments, analysis and oversight, along with complementary skills in project management, political advocacy, maritime and port security. Cincinnatus clients include local, regional and national government agencies that operate or own critical intermodal transportation infrastructure.Through this acquisition, Enterra Solutions expands and strengthens its Philadelphia regional presence and its focus and capabilities in integrated security systems and intermodal transportation, particularly in the port and maritime domain. The added skills and experience will enable Enterra Solutions to provide a more complete array of tools and services to its clients and to enhance its product content.
Both companies are active in the field of strengthening homeland security by improving prevention, response and mitigation capabilities. The combination of the two organizations builds upon common goals and broadens the range of their joint knowledge base. Enterra Solutions will expand Cincinnatus’ scope of operations by bringing them into Enterra Solutions’ International Security Affairs Practice Group.

Enterra Solutions is currently working with Holt Logistics, operator of the Port of Philadelphia as a model for an international Trusted Port and Maritime Domain Awareness System for ports and intermodal transportation operators worldwide.
