Saddle Creek adds new business development director
Saddle Creek Logistics Services has announced that the company has named Steven J. Edelstein as director of business development, order fulfillment.In this role, Edelstein will focus on expanding Saddle Creek’s growing fulfillment business by developing new customer relationships and promoting organic growth with existing accounts. He will be based in New Haven, CT.
Edelstein has more than 20 years of experience in direct marketing as well as supply chain management and logistics. Prior to joining Saddle Creek, he founded The Logical Step, LLC, a strategic direct marketing consultancy. He has also held management positions with Fosdick Fulfillment and NewRoads, Inc., among others.
‘Steve brings a unique blend of strategic and technical expertise to Saddle Creek ,’ said Perry Belcastro, Saddle Creek vice president of fulfillment. ‘His ecommerce experience in a variety of vertical markets will be especially valuable as we grow our portfolio of efulfillment business.’
Steve is a long-term member of the New York New Media Association, a contributing writer to many industry publications, and a frequent speaker at industry events. He is a former board member of the Electronic Retailing Association, the American Marketing Association, and the ERA Board of Directors’ Ethics Committee, as well as a former specialty advisor and board member of the Direct Marketing Association and former Chairman of the Board of Electronic Retailer Magazine.
