Amad Logistics, S.A. - New Partner in Nicaragua for United Shipping
Aurora, Colorado, USA ’ April 30, 2013 - United Shipping, Inc. (USI), the premier Worldwide Association of Independently owned Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers with over 135 partner companies and 375 offices is pleased to announce that Amad Logistics, S.A. located in Managua, Nicaragua’is our new partner.
In 1982, Mr. Guillermo E. V’lez founded a Freight Forwarding and NVOCC company by the name of Air Oceanic Services, Inc. Since then, Mr. V’lez has established a foundation for a tradition of excellence and trust in air and ocean freight services. Air Oceanic Services, Inc expanded with great success, establishing commercial relationships with every Central American nation through Ocean FCL, Ocean LCL, and Air Freight. Mr V’lez moved into of Nicaragua later on after the US trade blockade was lifted.
One of Amad Logistics, S.A. most outstanding achievements was the strategic alliance made with Express Parcel Services (EPS), United Shipping’s partner in the Dominican Republic. EPS initiated courier services that offered an effective solution to Dominican Republic’s import problems; such solutions also established delivery and time records.
In 2005, Mr. V’lez moved to Nicaragua, where he strategically joined Amad Logistics, S.A. together with Air Oceanic Services Inc. under the name of Amad Logistics LLCwhich is an independent firm that exclusively represents Amad Logistics, S.A. The company is an independent firm that represents Amad Logistics LLC in Nicaragua as a company that receives merchandise from Miami, Florida. Amad Logistics, LLC was founded in the year 1994 as an International Freight Forwarder, and also a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) in 1999. Amad Logistics, LLC has a staff with over 35 years of experience in the transportation industry. These strong alliances, along with friendly relationships with air and marine shipping companies, have contributed to great success and prestige for Amad Logistics, S.A. “We are confident that the new alliance with United Shipping, Inc. will be of mutual benefit to both companies!” states’ Mr. V’lez.
