Belgian dry bulk shipper CMB says ship glut affecting rates
Belgian dry bulk shipping group CMB said surplus of vessels, particularly of its larger capesize ships, affected the rates it could charge in the first quarter.It said its turnover was $148 million, slightly missing an average of $152 million expected in a Reuters poll of three banks and brokerages.
Its first-quarter core profit was $36 million, slightly below $38 million expected in the poll. (Reuters)
