10th Anniversary Conference attracts the finest independent freight forwarders
Open to all independent freight forwarding companies from around the globe, as well as an impressive range of logistics vendors and suppliers, the Sino-International Conference attracts key decision makers and has become a powerful driver for growth within the sector.
Co-organised by China International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFA) – the country’s leading logistics organisation, and WCA – the world’s largest and most powerful freight forwarder’s network, the annual Sino-International Freight Forwarders Conference is celebrating its 10thanniversary. Over the past decade hundreds of millions of dollars of new business has been secured by attendees.
CIFA President and Vice-President of FIATA Extended Board, Zhao Huxiang, said that the Sino Conference is: “One of the world’s most important platforms for global trade, offering abundant market opportunities and reliable partners for all attendees. There is no better forum for finding new business throughout the world than this conference.” He added that forming and cementing relationships face-to-face is vital in Asian culture and is the reason that delegates return year after year to the Sino event.
The event is a vital tool in the creation of new partnerships between freight forwarders worldwide and in 2012 attracted 1,105 delegates from over 115 countries.
The 2013 event will see confirmed participation from top-level executives representing China’s largest logistics companies – all of which are actively seeking new international partners and business relationships. These include Sinotrans, with a staff of over 70,000 employees and a business volume of US$16.6 billion per year, China Shipping Logistics with 80 branch offices throughout China and Zhenhua Logistics Group, which handles over 2.6 million TEUs per year.
All delegates will be able to pre-arrange their meetings using the unique One-on-One scheduler and ensure they maximise their return-on-investment by meeting the right partners from their key target markets around the world. In total over 70,000 individual meetings will be scheduled and conducted during the event.
