NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers Ltd. Begins Operations
Operations began today at NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers Ltd., the product of the merger of two key wholly owned NYK subsidiary companies — i.e., NYK-Hinode Line Ltd. (Hinode) and NYK Global Bulk Corporation (NGB).
Through this merger between NGB, which was one of the world’s largest specialists in Handy bulk carriers, and Hinode, which made use of its advanced maritime know-how in the transport of a variety of bulk cargo, such as plant and heavy equipment, NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers Ltd. willmstrive to improve efficiencies and service quality and employ the NYK
Group’s synergy to grow beyond the bounds of the existing business models.
