AutoInfo, Inc., a provider of transportation services, operating under the Sunteck Transport Group and E-Transport Group brands, has hired Dave Dallas as Chief Commercial Officer. In his new role, Dave is responsible for all commercial functions of the company, including recruiting transportation entrepreneurs and professionals, increasing market share through sales initiatives, and increasing brand awareness. He will also provide sales and marketing training and support to existing agents.
Dave brings 22 years of transportation experience and previously served as Sunteck’s vice president of sales and marketing between 2007 and 2008. From 2008 to 2013, he was with Landstar Transportation Logistics, serving as vice president of international, expedited and LTL services. Before that, he was president of TransMarkets Technologies, region vice president for Landstar Express America, regional sales manager with Roberts Express, and director of sales and marketing for Towne Air Freight.
Prior to his career in transportation, Dave spent 10 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy. In 1991, he was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal by the Secretary of the Navy.
“Sunteck and E-Transport are incredible companies. People love to be associated with a winner. Our agents are winners. They deliver great service to customers, and corporately, we provide the support they need to make that possible. For transportation entrepreneurs who want to grow, there’s no better place to be,” said Dave when asked about his new role.
“We’re pleased to have an executive of Dave’s caliber back on our team,” said Mike Williams, president and CEO, AutoInfo, Inc. “His experience and leadership will be invaluable as we continue our pursuit to provide excellent service to customers and agents alike.”
