cargo-partner strengthens its network in Southeast Asia with the opening of a new branch in Vietnam
Ranking 13th in the world for population and boasting continuous growth, the move into Vietnam guarantees cargo-partner increased exports from this industrious region. Vietnam is also one of the 10 founding states of ASEAN, the Southeast Asian economic alliance that will start operating in January 2015, creating a region of more than 600 million inhabitants.
cargo-partner’s new office is located in the heart of the main traffic arteries between the airport and industrial centers of Ho Chi Minh City. As well as standard freight forwarding services such as air and sea freight, cargo-partner is also offering warehousing solutions and customs clearance of goods in Vietnam.
CEO Stefan Krauter states, “We view Vietnam as a rapidly growing market of the future. Having our own branch in the country allows us to purchase freight volumes and control our logistics services providing an optimal flow of information for our customers.”
Stefan van der Sluys, cargo-partner Regional Director South East Asia continues, “Many companies from the electrical, garment and shoe manufacturing industries are based in Vietnam, so it was a logical step for us to open up a branch in the region to provide skilled advice along with prompt service to our customers on location”,
