Keen Transport promotes Easter to CEO
Keen Transport, Inc. announced that it has promoted Chris Easter to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective January 1st, 2014. Easter has served as President and Chief Operating Officer and will succeed Bill Keen who has served as the company’s CEO since 1995. Keen will remain an employee of the Company and will help guide its future strategy.
“Chris is an outstanding leader who has rapidly integrated himself into the organization and significantly contributed to our recent successes and growth within the specialized logistics marketplace. He possesses the core values of the Keen organization and is a natural fit to take our Company forward”, shared Bill Keen. “I congratulate him on this promotion and am excited about the future for Keen in both our transportation and logistics divisions.”
A veteran of the logistics industry, Chris Easter, has served in executive roles with several other companies including Wal-Mart, Schneider Logistics, and RoadLink as well as serving as a Transportation Officer in the United States Army. With these organizations he has led both transportation and logistics facilities across the United States.
