England Logistics, a non-asset based third-party logistics company specialized in transportation logistics services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lance Evenson as its new Vice President of Finance and Business Development supporting the budgeting & forecasting and corporate planning & analysis of the England Logistics Headquarters, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lance came to England Logistics after six years as Vice President of Finance for Provo Craft (Cricut), a manufacturer of consumer electronic die-cutting machines and other craft-related products.

Lance graduated with his Accounting degree from Boise State and completed his MBA at the University of Utah. Beyond his education, Lance brings 15 years of industry experience gained from his career building at Albertsons, Arthur Andersen, and Cadence Design Systems Inc. where he managed 45 international subsidiary ledger consolidations as the Principal International Accountant. Lance also exceled at TD Ameritrade (Investools, Inc.) as a SEC Reporting & SOX Compliance Manager and later ensured the company’s complex revenue recognition practices were compliant with GAAP as the Revenue Manager. He was later recruited by the CFO of Ally Financial Inc. (formerly GMAC) to assume the role of Controller and oversee all accounting, FP&A, SOX & FDICIA compliance, SEC and regulatory reporting functions for a Utah-based industrial bank with $28.4 billion in automotive, residential mortgage and commercial real estate assets, and $1.5 billion in annual revenue. “I am thrilled to have Lance join our executive team,” said Jason Beardall, president of England Logistics. “His experience brings tremendous value to our organization and he will be a key contributor to our culture which strives for continuous improvement and holds both the customer and the employee experience at the core of what motivates us.” Lance enjoys developing his department and team while creating strategic structures, and executing mergers & acquisitions. Beyond his work, he enjoys stock & options trading, fly fishing and traveling internationally. Lance also has a passion for car restoration, specifically early Volkswagens and Porsches and currently has eight vintage VWs in his garage.
