The European Pallet Association e.V. (EPAL) has firmly established itself in the Czech Republic: Licensed Czech manufacturers have increased their EPAL pallet production in the first quarter of 2014 by 24 per cent compared to the first quarter of 2013. Furthermore, since the first pallet symposium took place in the Czech Republic in November 2013, the number of licensees has risen to eight manufacturers and repair shops. “The numbers show that we are on the right path in the Czech Republic. EPAL Euro pallets have met with a high level of business approval and recognition, as the users know that the pallets can be exchanged limitlessly and are inspected by an external agency,” Martin Leibrandt, the CEO of EPAL, declares assessing EPAL’s growth in the Czech Republic. The companies are convinced of the high quality of the EPAL Euro pallets. With spot checks undertaken on the premises of manufacturers and repair shops by the independent inspection agency, Bureau Veritas, EPAL ensures the high quality of the pallets. In addition, EPAL entertains close relations with Czech customs officials to protect the market from counterfeiting and piracy.
