The Evans Network of Companies has opened a state-of-the-art trucking terminal inside the Cavalier Industrial Park in Chesapeake, Virginia. This location is operated by Kaje Enterprises, agents for the Evans Network since 2004.

Unlike other agents that rent a facility or yard space, Evans now has a permanent home in Chesapeake at 3317 Business Center Drive. The facility is fully fenced with a self propelled gated yard with access via ID card 24 hours a day. The terminal also features an on-site repair shop available to all vendors of Evans Cavalier Industrial Park was selected due to the easy access to Interstate 64, which connects to all other major highways in the area. It also offers access to all ports, railheads and terminals in the greater Hampton Roads area.

Customers, employees and representatives from corporate headquarters were on hand for the opening celebration, where, Kaje Enterprises' Owner and President, Karen Cameron, presented plaques of appreciation to Albert "Bert" Evans, Jr., President and CEO of the Evans Network, and Matthew "Bo" Bates, Executive Vice President of the Evans Network.

"The plaques are a small symbol of Kaje Enterprises' gratitude to the Evans Network. The support and guidance we receive from Evans has enabled us to grow and remain competitive," said Ms. Cameron. "By utilizing the financial and operational stability of the network, Kaje Enterprises will be able to meet our future growth goals," she continued.

In addition to the owners, Karen and Casey, Kaje Enterprises has seven employees and contracts with 55 owner-operators. "All of our employees and owner-operators work diligently to safely deliver freight throughout the entire country. We owe everything we've accomplished to them," Mr. Cameron stated.
