Evergreen has announced enhanced e-commerce capability for the China and Hong Kong markets that includes two integrated and regional information websites in simplified Chinese and in English. These practical and user-friendly e-commerce services are available for the customers in ShipmentLink (www.shipmentlink.com).

Customers benefiting from this new service will be widespread. In China, 13 important commercial regions of North China, Central China and South China will be served: Dalian, Tianjin and Qingdao in North China; Nanjing, Shanghai, Ningbo, Wuhan and Chongqing in Central China; and Fuzhou, Xiamen, Guangxhou, Shenzhen and Zhongshan in South China. In Hong Kong, the same services will be provided as well.

The main functions are provided in ShipmentLink (http://www.shipmentlink.com ) as follows. This website provides e-commerce solutions for Evergreen Marine Corporation, Hatsu Marine Ltd and Italia Marittima SpA.

Rather than having to search for information on various websites or by telephone, customers can accurately and immediately access complete e-commerce services from the integrated portal. For example, these customers can now obtain guidelines and forms of each area.

Now available to this vital market are detailed sailing schedules and transshipment information which include data of First Leg Vessel, Mother Vessel, Cut Off Location, Cut Off Date, CY Receiving date and Shipping Instruction Cut Off Date. Import and export sailing schedules are accessible any time, allowing advanced planning.

Customized sailing schedules, designed to meet every trade requirement are available for subscription to be sent weekly.

Customers can search for more export information on the ShipmentLink website (http://www.shipmentlink.com ) such as the cut-off place, cut-off date, arrival date, exchange rate, B/L available time, amendment time and call sign information by region. Similarly, they can search for more import information such as the release order availability time, estimated arrival time, call sign and pick up depot.

The website separates all functions into export and import blocks. The specific layout helps customers to find services promptly. Details on a specific local area can now be accessed.

The latest news of interest to the market is also now posted on the website so that customers can stay up-to-date on events that may impact business decisions.

‘It is always Evergreen’s goal to keep our loyal market equipped with the tools needed for maintaining a successful business. We believe the enhanced e-commerce capability will accomplish that mission,’ said an Evergreen spokesperson.
