Charleston, S.C. – Construction is complete after a significant expansion and renovation to Southeastern Freight Lines’ Savannah, Ga., facility. Frampton Construction Company, LLC, a regional full-service construction firm, provided preconstruction and construction services for the project.

As part of the expansion, approximately 17,371 square feet of dock space was built to house 44 new dock doors, for a total of 95 doors. Frampton Construction also renovated a 5,000 square foot warehouse on the property and paved five acres on site to create additional drive aisles and 144 new trailer parking spaces. The expanded facility will enable Southeastern Freight Lines to serve its customers more efficiently.

Brendan Gilbert, project manager with Frampton Construction, said, “The team at Frampton is pleased to have completed the Southeastern Freight Lines at Savannah dock expansion. Our goal is to build long-term relationships with our clients and to do that by exceeding expectations, which for this project meant ensuring that existing operations were not impeded during construction. We were honored to have had the chance to work again with the Southeastern Freight team and hope to continue to play a key role in their future developments.”

This is Frampton Construction’s ninth project for Southeastern Freight Lines. Additional partners included Robert Johnson Architects, MDV Engineering, and Jordan Skala Engineers.
