GAC Bunker Fuels Ltd, the bunker trading arm of the GAC Group, has boosted its team with the addition of new traders covering strategic markets in the USA and Singapore.

Houston-based Chris Brooks has joined Maurice Lara to further strengthen the company’s presence in the Gulf of Mexico. He brings with him more than six years of bunker fuels procurement in the region with Chevron and Bominflot.

In the world’s busiest bunker port, Singapore, the bunkering team headed by Steve Chen has been boosted by the addition of Maritime Studies graduate Casey Han.

From the company’s global headquarters in Dubai, GAC Bunker Fuels Director Nicholas Browne says: “After a very fruitful year of steady growth during 2013, we felt the time was right to inject more bright young talent to further develop our business and deliver results for our clients. Chris and Casey are valuable additions to our international network.”

GAC Bunker Fuels draws on the GAC Group’s strong market relationships, physical contacts and local knowledge to streamline the management of marine fuels and lubricants enquiries through offices in the USA, UK, Norway, Egypt, Sri Lanka, India and Singapore. Its hallmark is smooth, speedy coordination of quality IFO, MGO, MDO and lubricants from carefully selected suppliers who meet internationally approved standards. GAC Bunker Fuels is an ISO 9001 and TRACE certified company listed with FPAL.
