FANZL Fesco Australia New Zealand Liner Services announced that Gale Searing has been named as Director of Sales/Customer Service. Searing assumes the new position in addition to his ongoing work as Manager of West Coast Services for Hamburg S'd Region North America, based in Long Beach, CA. He will oversee FANZL Sales and Customer Service operations in Seattle and San Francisco/Oakland.
FANZL Fesco Australia New Zealand Liner Services was established earlier this year with Hamburg S'd's acquisition of Fesco services linking Australia/NZ with the US West Coast and with Asia. It provides shippers with a number of important transport advantages:
- 104 sailings per year with direct calls in Los Angles, Oakland, Seattle, Vancouver and Ensenada, Mexico.
- Modern tonnage ' right-sized for the trade with strong reefer capacity.
- On-dock rail connections in Los Angeles to Chicago, Dallas, Memphis and New Orleans and additional rail links to other sections of the country.
- A dedicated FANZL customer service team for timely handling of export/import shipments
