Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) announced that the company recently attained the Cargo 2000 certification, confirming Hactl to be in full compliance with the requirements of the standard and scopes of work under Cargo 2000 Quality Management System.

Cargo 2000 is an IATA sponsored industry interest group, aimed at implementing a new quality management system for the air cargo industry worldwide. The objective is to implement processes, backed by quality standards, which are measurable to improve the efficiency of air cargo. Cargo 2000 members include airlines, freight forwarders, ground handlers, trucking companies and IT providers. Upon the successful completion of the quality audit, Hactl is the first local Cargo Terminal Operator demonstrating operational and service integrity in conformity with the Cargo 2000 Quality Management System standards.
