Air cargo specialty services provider Heavyweight Air Express recently announced a series of commercial measures aimed at supporting and building upon its expanding US air cargo business. Highlighting these growth initiatives are recently appointed regional managers in both the US Southeast and West Coast markets.

Arturo Horton joins as Sales Director based in Los Angeles and will directly manage the commercial aspect of Heavyweight's cargo products in the Western region. Arturo brings with him a comprehensive knowledge base within the transportation business that encompasses experience in cargo sales, ground handling and trucking, software applications and wholesale and brokerage. His resume includes management positions with Hermes Aviation, Sterling Transportation and Grupo TACA.

Complementing this new addition is Andy Roberts, who assumes management of the Heavyweight Air Express office in the Southeast US Based in Atlanta, Andy brings with him a wealth of knowledge that includes cargo handling, station management and oversight of operations on a country-wide level. Originally from the United Kingdom, Andy has enjoyed previous experience with cargo airlines that include ANA and Emirates.
