H'egh Autoliners Inc. has announced the appointment of Jasper Cutrone to Senior Manager, Quality Assurance and Morten R. Govertsen to Port Captain.

Cutrone holds a Master's Degree in Total Quality Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Dowling College, Oakdale, New York and an Associate Degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Norfolk, VA.

Based in Jericho, New York, Cutrone will head up the quality assurance programs for H'egh Autoliners in the United States. He is certified as an ISO 9001:2000/AS9001B Standards Lead Auditor and is a member in good standing of the American Society for Quality Organization. His extensive experience from more than two decades in the quality management systems field will prove to be a valuable asset to H'egh Autoliners.

A native of Arendal, Norway, Govertsen moved to the United States with his family in 1978. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Management.

Govertsen has progressed in increasingly responsible positions and served as equipment manager, safety coordinator and stevedore superintendent and worked in the Ports of Philadelphia, Camden and Wilmington, DE. Based in Baltimore with H'egh Autoliners, he will assume responsibility for vessels along the US East Coast, coordinating the loading and discharge of cargo.
