H'egh Autoliners Inc. has announced the appointment of James A. Perduto as Vice President, Marketing.

Perduto joins H'egh Autoliners from the United States Mission to the United Nations where he served as a Military Advisor assigned to The Joint Chiefs of Staff. His duties as a US Navy Reserve Commander comprised of providing immediate strategic assessment and counsel to the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and reporting to the State Department and the Joint Chiefs on the impact of United Nations' mandates as they relate to the United States. For his service he was awarded the Joint Staff Commendation Medal.

Perduto graduated from the New York Maritime College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Transportation Management and a Masters degree (with honors) in International Transportation Management. He has more than a decade of leadership experience; at sea as a merchant marine officer, in executive level sales and management positions and recently as an Adjunct Marine Transportation Professor at New York Maritime College. Perduto maintains an active US Merchant Marine Second Mates and 1600 Ton Masters license.

In his new position, he will be directly responsible for the coordination and management of the company's sales and customer relationship management, pricing, advertising and promotional activities.
