Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that it has signed a lease with Brandywine Realty Trust (NYSE:BDN) for approximately 60,000 square feet of trophy-class office space at One Commerce Square located at 2005 Market Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hill will be moving its global corporate headquarters from Marlton, New Jersey and consolidating space with its existing Philadelphia office in May 2015. The 12-year lease is for the entire 17th and 16th floors of the 565-foot high skyscraper, the seventh tallest in Philadelphia. Hill was assisted on the relocation by real estate advisor Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and has retained the architecture and interior design firm L2Partridge to design its new space. "We are excited to be moving our global corporate headquarters into this world-class building," said David L. Richter, Hill's President and Chief Operating Officer. "The ability to consolidate our two local offices plus the many benefits of being located in the Center City business district make this a great move for our company," added Richter. Hill International, with 4,400 employees in 100 offices worldwide, provides program management, project management, construction management, construction claims and other consulting services primarily to the buildings, transportation, environmental, energy and industrial markets. Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the ninth largest construction management firm in the United States.
