International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) recently named Elvis Ganda chief executive officer and general manager of ICTSI Oregon, Inc. in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Ganda was formerly president of California United Terminals Inc. in Long Beach California where he led the company successfully through the $1.5B Middle Harbor Development Project.

He brings to ICTSI 34 years in the maritime Industry. Before ICTSI, he was deputy port director for port operations for the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport). He also held different positions in American President Lines (APL) in Oakland, California including director of terminal operations for Asia, Middle East and India. He also worked in Sea-land Services, Inc. in various areas including as port manager in Oakland, CA.

He is an active member of the Pacific Merchant Shipping Association, the U.S. Propeller Club and various charitable community organizations. He was also involved in various associations including the National Safety Council, Boston Shipping Association, and Board of Director member for the Oakland Sub-steering Committee, and the PMA Northern California Area Accident Prevention Committee.
