'The opening of Shenyang, our tenth office in China, is part of our three year expansion programme across the mainland,' states IJS Global's CEO Asia, Michael Groebsch. 'As a transportation and commercial hub for the region Shenyang is an important industrial centre with tremendous opportunities for us to increase our specialist footprint in the automotive sector. We believe our flexible, tailor-made solutions and our ability to adapt to local requirements make us ideally placed to grow our Chinese business in the coming months.
Branch Manager, Leo Liu, joins the company to head up the office from the logistics department of a major manufacturing company in the city. His initial focus will be on outbound traffic to both Europe and the USA with automotive, machinery and pipes receiving a particular emphasis. IJS Global is currently evaluating locations for the opening of its next branch office in China, with a planned launch for later in the year.
