Intermarine announced that Industrial Terminals, the loadcenter for all of its Americas services, received the M/V Karin, the first vessel to dock at the terminal since hurricane Ike.

“We are extremely pleased to receive our first ship at the terminal,” commented Darce Kullman, General Manager of Industrial Terminals. “Gulf Stream Marine, our freight handler, has worked feverishly since the storm to ready the facility for cargo operations. We are also expecting the Industrial Dart and the Baltimar Euros to arrive...”

All three of the vessels will load for ports in the north and east coasts of South America.

Industrial Terminals, located in the Houston ship Channel, is a full service breakbulk terminal with three ocean berths and round-the-clock cargo operations. Facilitating cargo deliveries is the exclusive ITEX service that allows for paperless cargo receiving.
